Stürmpanzerwagen A7V-U German Tank
The Stürmpanzerwagen A7V-U was a development of the Stürmpanzerwagen A7V of World War One. The prototype was completed in June 1918 and featured side sponsons, rhomboidal tracks as used in British tanks, and a superstructure to provide improved vision. Despite having a high centre of gravity, and being bow-heavy, a series of 20 was ordered in September 1918. None of these were built before the November 1918 armistice.
