Yugoslavia order 12 Dornier Do 22Kj seaplanes. During the German invasion, four were destroyed, but eight reached Egypt in April 1941. These equipped No. 2 (Yugoslav) Squadron which began patrol operations over the Mediterranean from Aboukir under the control of No. 230 Squadron on June 3, 1941.
