Kawanishi H6K in Indonesian Service

The Kawanishi H6K was an Imperial Japanese Navy flying boat operated for maritime patrol during the Second World War. First flying in 1936, a total of 215 were built.

Indonesian forces acquired a Kawanishi H6K2-L flying boat after the Second World War. Pictures exist of an H6K5 with Indonesian markings being serviced by mechanics of 3219 Servicing Commando, Royal Air Force.
