The Auster J5G Autocar is a British-built four-seater touring/liaison aircraft. It was designed just after WW11 and first flew in September 1949.

This aircraft was originally a civilian one, originally owned by Kingsford Smith Aviation. Acquired by the Fleet Air Arm Museum at HMAS Albatross and fully restored to represent one of the 2 Autocars the RAN owned, it is now owned by a consortium of HARS members and is fully airworthy.
