Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XVI TB863 FU-P flew operationally during the Second World War with 453 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force. It is currently based at the Temora Aviation Museum and operated as part of the RAAF’s 100 Squadron Historic Flight.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX MH603 FN-B
This Supermarine Spitfire was manufactured in 1943 and flew operationally with No. 331 Squadron (Norwegian) and No. 274 Squadron RAF over Northern Europe. Purchased by the South African Air Force in 1948, it was later sold to US interests before Pay’s Aerial Services acquired it in 2008. It has since been restored to flying condition.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII RG-V A58-758 Grey Nurse was the last Spitfire acquired by the Royal Australian Air Force. Arriving after the end of hostilities, it was not used operationally, but instead used as an instructional airframe.
Now restored, it is part of RAAF 100 Squadron Temora Historic Flight Collection. The paint scheme is that of A58-602 as flown by of Wing Commander R.H. (Bobby) Gibbes of 457 Squadron RAAF.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XVI TE392 is painted to represent the aircraft flown by Australian ace, Frederick Anthony Owen Gaze, who is credited with shooting down 13.5 enemy aircraft over Europe – including both a Messerschmitt Me 262 and Arado Ar 234.
