Hiro G2H
Built for the Imperial Japanese Navy, the Hiro G2H was a long range bomber, which first flew in 1933. Of the eight that were built, one crashed, while the others operated during the against the Chinese mainland during the Second Sino-Japanese War. In 1937, five of the remaining aircraft were destroyed in a fire at their base on Cheju Island.
Although the Type 94 W-18 piston engines proved unreliable during operations, which resulted in the small number built, the type provided the IJN with experience in long range operations.
