A14 Cruiser Tank

The A14 was a heavy cruiser tank designed to be able to operate independently of the infantry. When evaluated by the British Army, it was found to be overly complicated, four tonnes overweight and too slow. Design was halted and efforts moved to the A13 Mk III Cruiser Tank Mk V Covenanter, which was also a failure and possibly the worst tank produced by Britain.
