Consolidated B-24 Liberator Bombers Interned By Switzerland
During the Second World War, damaged Allied aircraft would sometimes seek refuge by heading for Switzerland, rather than facing a POW camp in Germany. The Swiss gathered these aircraft together, some of which had Swiss markings applied for their ferry flights.
