The Finnish Air Force received 15 Dornier Do 17Z bombers in November 1941. This consisted of three Z-1, three Z-2 and nine Z-3. Primarily used for night bombing missions by No. 46 Squadron the Finns considered them obsolete. Ten of the fifteen Dornier Do 17s received were lost between January 1943 and January 1945. The surviving five were not scrapped until in 1952.
