Dyle et Bacalan AB-20 French Bomber
The Dyle et Bacalan AB-20 was a four engined French bomber of the early 1930s. Developed from the three engined DB-70 airliner, it featured a thick lifting body fuselage. The financial failure of Dyle et Bacalan in 1929 resulted in a change of the company name to Société Aérienne Bordelaise (SAB).
A development of the AB-20, the AB-21 featured a cantilever wing, eliminating the wing bracing struts. An attempt to develop a ground attack version with a 75mm gun was abandoned when after damage was caused to the lower wing skin by muzzle blast.
No production aircraft were made.
