German Dreadnought Battleship SMS König Albert
Launched on 27 April 1912 and was commissioned on 31 July 1913, SMS König Albert was the forth of the Kaiser-class dreadnought battleships built for the Imperial German Navy. König Albert was not present at the Battle of Jutland due to maintenance problems with her condensers which saw her in dry dock. Participating in Operation Albion, she bombarded Russian positions in the Gulf of Riga.
Following the Armistice, SMS König Albert was interned at Scapa Flow and subsequently scuttled by her crew on 21 June 1919. She was raised in 1935 and scrapped in 1936.
