Heinkel He 111 in Hungarian Service
During World War II, the Hungarian Air Force operated the Heinkel He 111P-2 aircraft in the reconnaissance role. The first two were delivered in 1940, while the last five arrived in 1942, for a total of seven aircraft. Initially the first two aircraft carried codes for bombers (B-701 and B-702), but this was later changed to reconnaissance codes (F-701 and F-702). The final five He 111Ps carried codes F-703 to F-706 and F-710.
