Heinkel He 112
The Heinkel He 112 was designed for the same fighter competition that was won by the Messerschmitt Bf 109. Although not ordered by the Luftwaffe, it was operated by Spain, Hungary, Romania and Japan in small numbers. During the annexation of the Sudetenland, The Japanese order was pressed into German service for a short time, although not used.
