The Heinkel He 115 was a German designed seaplane from the Second World War. The initial prototype first flew in August 1937. Capable of carrying bombs, torpedoes an aerial mines a total of 138 were built, of which six were sold to Norway, 12 to Sweden and two lent to Finland.

The Norwegian aircraft were used during the German invasion, where an additional two were captured after they ran out of fuel. Four Norwegian He 115s escaped to Britain and were used by the RAF, while another flew to Finland where it was used against the Soviet Union.

Britain, Finland and Germany also used the Heinkel He 115 to drop agents behind enemy lines.
