Lioré et Olivier LeO H-46 Seaplane Bomber
The Lioré et Olivier LeO H-46 was a bomber seaplane first flown in May 1936. Designed to replaced older biplane seaplanes, it was an all-metal monoplane capable of carrying a 1,000 kg bomb load or one torpedo. Initial tests were promising, but an accident caused severe damage, which was followed by an extended period for repairs. This, combined with changing priorities resulted in the cancellation of the program and the H-46 was scrapped in 1940.
