Manfred-Weiss W.M.23 Ezüst Nyíl
When plans to manufacture the Heinkel He 112 in Hungary were cancelled, engineers at Manfred-Weiss decided to design a local version. Heavily based on the He 112, the Manfred-Weiss W.M.23 Ezüst Nyíl (meaning silver arrow) replaced steel with wooden structure with plywood covering. After the loss of the prototype when the starboard aileron detached, plans shifted to an all-metal airframe.
These plans however were cancelled when the Manfred-Weiss factory obtained a licence to build the Messerschmitt Bf 109G.
