Parnall Elf

First flying in 1929, the Parnall Elf was a wood and fabric covered biplane. The unusual “V” interplane struts negated the need to bracing wires and the wings were designed to fold, to minimise hanger space requirements. Only three Parnall Elf light planes were built.
