Spanish Battleship Jaime I

Jaime I was the third ship of the España-class of dreadnought battleships for the Spanish Navy. The other ships in the class were Alfonso XIII and España. Launched in September 1914, she was completed in 1921, after shortages caused by World War One resulted in delays in materials.

During the Rif War, Jaime I bombarded rebel positions. She remained with the Republican Government during the Spanish Civil War and was destroyed by an internal explosion in 1937.
