Supermarine Spitfire Operated by Thailand
Following the Second World War, Thailand ordered 30 Supermarine Spitfire F/FR Mk XIV fighters from Britain. Arriving in 1950, 24 were assembled with the remainder serving as a source of spare parts. In 1954 and additional four PR Mk XIXs were ordered.
