USS Constitution CC-5
USS Constitution CC-5 was a Lexington-Class battlecruiser of the US Navy. Construction commenced in 1920, but was halted in February 1922 due to the terms of the Washington Treaty, which restricted, the tonnage and number of capital ships the signatory nations could possess. The two most complete ships (Lexington and Saratoga) were converted to aircraft carriers, but the remaining four were broken up in 1923.
