Vickers Vildebeest in Spanish Service

Spain purchased a license to produce the Vickers Vildebeest torpedo bomber for the Spanish Navy. A total of 25 were produced. Manufactured by CASA most received the Hispano-Suiza HS 600 inline engine, unlike other Vildebeest which had radial engines.

Around 20 were still in service at the start of the Spanish Civil War and were operated by the Spanish Republican Air Force.
