Hunter Lavender Farm

Located in the beautiful New South Wales’ Hunter Valley, the Hunter Lavender Farm is a great addition to the list of things to see. So as well as the usual wineries, olive oil and amazing scenery, you can now see how lavender oil is produced and purchase products from the farm door.

When we visited there was a small entry fee, but you were able to wander through the lavender in your own time. The back drop to the farm has picturesque mountains, so photographers should love it too.

We spent a while wandering though the plantings while taking photos. At the far end of the fields several bee hives house some busy worker bees. We saw a few amongst the flowers too. The hives are decorated, making them another attraction on site.
