The Hawker Hind was a light bomber of the inter-war years, which first flew in 1934, entering squadron service in November 1935. The Hind eventually equipped 20 RAF squadrons. From 1937 it began being replaced by more modern monoplane bombers such as the Bristol Blenheim and Fairey Battle.
