Rivercat Shane Gould
The Shane Gould is a Sydney RiverCat-class catamaran operated by Harbour City Ferries on the Parramatta River. Built in 1993.
This Rivercat was named after Shane Gould AM MBE an Australian former competition swimmer, who at age only 15, won 5 individual Olympic swimming medals at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. She is still the only woman ever to win 5 individual medals at one games, and her 3 Gold medals, were all won in world record times.
